Clinical and Reflective Supervision

I provide a supportive supervision space that encourages growth,
self-reflection, curiosity and inspiration.

Question: What is the therapist's most valuable instrument?
Answer (and no-one misses this one): The Therapist's own Self.
- Irvin Yalom

With over 25 years experience as a practicing therapist my primary focus when offering supervision is to cultivate a supportive and inspiring environment for professional growth and self-reflection. My supervision approach is all about creating a space that encourages learning and celebration, and I am excited to discuss your work passions and supervision needs. The supervision I provide for social workers, therapists and youth workers is trauma-informed and incorporates evidence-based, systemic principles, frameworks and practices.
Establishing a genuine connection with our clients is crucial to our work. It can be inspiring, humbling and challenging to hear their stories and witness their bravery, growth, and healing. It's essential to have a safe place to contemplate our role, emotions, needs, concerns and how we can better respond to our clients ethically, professionally, empathetically, and helpfully.

As we work together, I will value your unique perspectives, skills and strengths and will normalise and celebrate uncertainty, idea exploration and curiosity. I encourage and support deliberate practice and am equally comfortable exploring a range of other topics such as organisational issues, workplace stress, professional development and ethical dilemmas. Feel free to share your goals with me and let's work together to achieve them.
Message me to organise a free, no-obligation consultation to discuss your needs.

Imperfection is not our personal problem,
it is a natural part of existing
