Coming to therapy is a radical act of kindness towards yourself.
You have bravely chosen to invest in yourself and your well-being
Here at Mindful Psychotherapy, I understand that everyone wants to be heard, encouraged and treated with kindness and respect, especially when dealing with difficult thoughts, emotions, experiences, or relationship problems.

With years of experience providing therapy, I recognise that people seek a genuine, compassionate therapist who really gets them, values them, goes at their pace and collaborates with them to utilise their distinct insights and strengths.
People just want a therapist who is
present, kind and human.

My aim is to listen to you with kindness, compassion, and non-judgmental curiosity whilst also attuning to myself and our communication to work more effectively and supportively with you. It's important to me that you know me as a real person, not someone pretending to have it all together. I'm a fellow imperfect human who believes in living by our values and doing what's important, even though that is a challenging, ongoing process for us all.

Research indicates that the therapeutic relationship is the most crucial factor in successful therapy despite the significance of the models and interventions I use. Therefore, I prioritise transparency with my clients and encourage them to share their feelings about our sessions and relationship. This approach ensures that we are aligned and can address any issues that may arise. Through our conversations, I aim to gain a deeper understanding of your world and help you do the same.

As I accompany my clients, I am often amazed by their resilience, creativity, and perseverance, even when they struggle to recognise these qualities in themselves. Their courage in overcoming obstacles and striving for the life they desire is truly inspiring. I consider it a great honour to walk alongside them for part of their journey.
